X-mas: an Otaku's Chance!!!

(I changed my background because it seemed a bit dark. I'm still trying to edit it though)

Anyways, Christmas is getting closer and it's the time when families get together and have a good time. An Otaku around that time goes crazy with it's money and buys new video games, manga books, and all of that shizbit with his/her Christmas money!!! >:D

Mainly and normally an otaku is a teenager and a teenager usually receive items for Christmas that make teens feel that they are grown up and popular like half of the things that we otakus don't really like. Half of my items last year were pink and I didn't like them really. But you want to be thankful for the gifts you get because it's a Christmas gift to you from a loved one who must have had to spend a lot of money on the gift. The main deal that teens get on Christmas including on their birthdays is money. Otakus would go wild with the money and usually buy some Japanese/anime items that seem losable or something that was tempting you to buy. At the end, I bet many otakus don't have any money left over and have to wait on an allowence. A smart otaku would plan out on what to buy now and what to buy later. This Christmas, the buying random stuff at the very minute will end if you follow this little mini guild at the bottom on how to save your life from buying everything in the world that you see at the millisecond you notice it and end up using all of your money.

This is how to deal with buying stuff and still have your money:

1. Make a list
Take out some paper and a pencil and write down what you want/need. Find out how much it costs too. Make a limit to yourself of items you would get now and later. Here's my list:
  • Super Paper Mario game $30 NAOW
  • One Piece 3-volume manga book $15 later
  • that neko hat from online $12 now
  • headphones $52 later
  •  White legging and blond hair dye (for cosplaying) $??? Now before Feb.
Make your list final and keep it until after Christmas day if you can (optional). You might get one of these items for Christmas and it's not good for you to buy one and get one from someone on Christmas for free.

2. Count up your money
Take out your piggy bank and start counting your money. After counting, split up the money for the items that are on your list (don't forget that you have to pay for tax!!!). If you don't have enough for one item, put it on hold for later. Also make a plan of what you are going to buy first to last. Some of you otakus might be saving up for buying stuff at a anime convention or a special event. I'm about to go though that too so save up and prepare yourself for the real test at the marketplace!!! (I will upload a blog about that in the future)

3. Go shoppin' :D
Grab a buddy or family member to the mall/store to buy the item(s) on your list. Only get the item(s) you need on your list ONLY!!! Even you see some other interesting things you want, don't do it!!! BE STRONG!!!
4. Chillax, man
It is not the end of the world if you didn't get what you wanted that wasn't on your list. If you can remember the name of it, you can add it to your list and later look for it online. But first, sit down and think about it for a while about if you want it or not. You will have plenty of time to make up your mind.

You want to save your money so you can have control of it and have enough money for the things you really want. Especially for the people that are going to Anime cons (very appealing and expensive thar) Once you get the hang of it, you can try to loosen up a bit (not too much) and roam around the mall/surfin' the web without a list if you want and go shopping without worry or stress of losing money.

An otaku's dream!!! (it's not my room sadly ._.)
But if you save up an follow the rules, this could be your room :3

Got any other stradegies on how to save money, COMMENT AWAY!!!

Ok... first topic...

HIYA :D

I, Peppermeek, has found herself on this site where i can blog. Though, I would only be blogging for once or twice a month.(As if other people would read my blogs). Imma tell you this really quick and what I specifically don't do-
I DO NOT POST EVERY 10 SECONDS ABOUT WHAT I JUST DID!!!! (That's not my thang).

Anyways, on to my topic :3

Hello Panda vs. Pocky
The two popular Asian snacks that compete each other. I once tried both. The Pocky was better to me because of it's flavor and the urge of having more. My friends at school call it "crack" because it's so good. But later on you don't want to eat a lot once you move around.

Hello Panda's products are so cheezy D:<!!! On the box I saw the melting chocolate coming out of the cookie which made me buy it. When I took a bite, all the chocolate was chunked up onto the opposite side, not even oozing out! OY!!! I was a little crabby about that. I didn't even liked how it tasted either.
